EVENT: BLEFA STAINLESS STEEL KEGS AT THE BRAU BEVIALE 2016

In its 120-year existence, BLEFA can look back on an eventful history and an extensive product assortment. Today, BLEFA is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of deep-drawn stainless steel kegs and was part of the Swiss Franke Group until 2016, operating under the name of "Franke BLEFA".

A wide ranging product assortment suited to a variety of applications, consistently high product quality, many years’ experience in keg production and a highly efficient keg service network have lead to BLEFA making a highly reputable name for itself in the beverage industry; a name that stands for quality "Made in Germany".

At BLEFA, reliable and durable stainless steel kegs are the logical consequence of state-of-the-art keg production, certified to ISO 9001:2008. By means of regular scans at precisely defined points, the production process is fully documented and recorded in the CaQ system. BLEFA then signs and seals this quality with a 30-year warranty, unique in the entire industry, which also gives customers security on their investment.

In 2016, as part of a restructuring programme within the Franke Group, it was decided to spin off Franke BLEFA and put it directly under the ownership of Artemis Holding. Essentially, not very much has changed for BLEFA, because Artemis is also the owner of the Franke Group.

So, both for customers and suppliers, things will still be very familiar, as the products and the promised quality will remain the same. All that’s changed is the name – and so, after 120 years, the company has come full circle. Franke BLEFA is now once again BLEFA.
